Solid cheese pizza with mostly consistent cheese and sauce coverage. Crust good enough to eat and comes with a side of marinara to eat with. Good amount of sizes available to choose from for pizza (personal, 10-12-14-inch, etc.). Pricier than most chains, though not sure it's worth it. Free delivery in the area, but did take 50 minutes late Saturday night. Did deliver right to the door at Comfort Inn in Elk Grove. Very friendly staff on the phone and delivery. Comes with crushed pepper and parmesan, a nice touch.

shitty service, only because I didnt see other menus in the hotel and I was starving. Never try it...the guy charges me like seven dollar for a 1.5hour delivery?I didnt have change so he just decided to charge me 7 dollar....the wings were fine but pasta was funny and oily!

The food is mediocre at best. It gets 1 star for being a fair price.

I neglected to read reviews before ordering Ordered breadsticks, pizza and meatball sandwich. Of the 3 the only thing near edible was meatball sandwich. The pizza has sauce that I don't like, sorta spicy, darker color. Couldn't eat. See pic, our pizza was sausage and mushroom. The "sausage" is small slivers similar to pepperoni. Thought they made a mistake until I tasted and had faint sausage flavor. The bread sticks were hard and were not garlicky. If my review was for meatball sandwich alone, that would have rated 3, but this review is on the hole. Cannot recommend.

Placed an order for delivery and never received it!! I than called them and they were closed. Their website states they are open till 4 a.m. and we placed an order at 3 am. We received a confirmation text letting us know they were working on our food. Two hours later we still have not received anything!!

Due to flight delays, forced to stay in Chicago overnight with 14 hour delay. Had two meal vouchers that I used to order the best veggie pizza ever. Maybe I was just stressed and all but really loved it. Wait was an hour but delivered direct to hotel. Only four stars given because driver asked for tip and I felt pressured to give it to him.

Isn't the first time they forgot my 2 cans of soda I ordered ! Why is it such an issue with any place order to to bring soda we paid for !?????

Hubs and I placed online order online on Saturday night at about 5:30. Based on the other Yelp reviews I expected that we'd be waiting over and hour for our carry-out order to be ready (despite the confirmation saying 20-30 minutes for carry-out orders). Reviews on the the food in particular were hit and/or miss, so we decided to give the place a try. I placed our order with no problems and they even offered a 10% off coupon at check-out. 20 minutes later my husband received a text saying that our order was ready-awesome! This was our first time trying Sarpino's, so for a chain pizza place it was just alright. We ordered a veggie pizza, veggie calzone w/ ranch and breadsticks. The calzone was my favorite part of the meal; have a fork on standby as the 'zone can get pretty messy. The pineapple on the veggie pizza was tasty, as was the sauce and there was no grease. The breadsticks we're like eating crackers; incredibly crispy, tough and just too hard to chew. 4/5 stars because we ordered early enough in the evening that our order was ready when promised. Food is pretty average and slightly on the pricey side given that the ingredients weren't anything elaborate. We'll come back again if we're in a pinch for dinner. Restaurant is carry-out/delivery only.

I've ordered from Sarpino's before, and usually it's at the bottom-end of mediocre, but today's delivery was beyond awful. I ordered a spinach salad with dijon dressing and they just gave me just plain MUSTARD. Who eats a salad with just mustard? I called the restaurant to resolve this issue and the lady on the phone basically told me that the mustard is what they serve when you order dijon mustard dressing. Who does that? Also, I ordered onion rings with ranch dressing and ketchup on the side, and they gave me marinara... no ranch or ketchup. The onion rings were literally the worst I've ever had. You could get the frozen rings at the grocery store and bake them up and they'd taste better than what I got... gross. Very dissatisfied, don't think I'll order from them again. Also, their wings are gross.

NEVER AGAIN.... I used GrubHub to place my order... that was simple enough for me to put in for a custom calzone.... But the wait was over an hour even though the place is just down the street... i was patient, though, because it said specifically that there was FREE DELIVERY and NO MINIMUM CHARGE. .. Well, once my food arrived, the delivery man ( who barely spoke english) handed me my food and a receipt to sign (that only had spaces for tip) and said "$5!" I thought he was joking because my order was only $10... but he was serious! I couldn't communicate my confusion to him so i just gave him the money. .. But i felt deceived! Was that the delivery charge? Was he INSISTING on a tip? Neither of the two seems right to me! ! Well, my calzone was correct to my order. .. but holds the record for THE GREASIEST thing I've ever gotten from a restaurant. .. the calzone was dripping with grease that even permeated through the bottom of the cardboard box it was in! Long story short, i will not be ordering from there again.

It usually takes about an hour to receive my pizza but the text message I get tells me that's the time it will take so it's okay and I live about 10 minutes from the restaurant. They offer a wide selection of toppings and sauces and there's almost always some type of coupon available to select from. The website is well done and I flow through it quickly and easily. It even lets me save my favorite pizza's for future deliveries. The pizza is fantastic, I don't care what anyone else says. It's one of the best I've had and with free delivery. Give this one a try.

They had one job. And it was to properly put the correct toppings on my pizza and add the dipping sauce I wanted. I even called to double check with you guys. And I got none of the above. Never again Sarpinos! Horrible service.

Mediocre pizza and shit service. My spinach salad came without bacon(the menu clearly states that this dish comes with bacon. I need my Effing bacon OK guys?), I was charged for an extra dressing I did not receive, and it took 90 minutes for a pizza and a salad to get to me on a Tuesday night. When I called to ask for my bacon and dressing issues to be resolved, the employee simply repeatedly replied "what was your question?". After about the third time I explained my.problem and she seemed completely baffled, I just gave up. Tbh should have gone to taco bell.

Summary: My advice is to listen to the other reviews - I didn't. 1 star for the atrocious delivery time and subpar food. Details: We arrived at O'Hare pretty late, so this was one of the few options that delivered at 1:30 AM. The estimated time was 45 to 60 minutes. We received our food (spaghetti and wings) at 2:45 AM, despite it being about 3 miles (7 minutes) away. I received an e-mail saying that the food was out for delivery at 1:59 AM. Why it took 46 minutes at such a late hour is beyond me. The food was subpar, though still edible, especially after a 5 hour flight. The wings weren't overcooked, but could use more flavor. The spaghetti reminded me of my high school cafeteria.

I give it no stars for the jerk who answered the phone and said WE CLOSED! Then hung up on me. Also may I point out that it was 2 hours prior to them actually closing!

Zero stars is the way to go on this one. I have ordered from other Sarpino's in the past and have never had a bad experience until we ordered from here. I work in Arlington Heights in a business complex so we have people drop menus all the time. We needed a quick lunch and the guy from Sarpinos had been here the day before and their menu was on the top of the pile so we went for it. BIG MISTAKE! I placed the order online because the guy that was in here the day before stated that was the way to go and since I was ordering for everyone in the office it was easy to just enter everything myself and not have to break it down over the phone. The ordering process was simple. We waited over an hour and a half for our food to be delivered after being given a 30-45 minute window. We called the location and they had the driver call us. He had been driving around the complex for 30 minutes because he could not find our suite. Pizza was warmish and salads were as well. I guess this was my lucky day because there was a BUG!! in my food. Yes you read that right a bug, something in the fly family in my food. Needless to say that went in the trash. I called the location just to be put on hold. After waiting 10 or so minutes I gave up and emailed the office. Guess what no response. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN!!

The only reason this places gets more than one star is their salads! The calzones are okay too I guess...but the pizza is a mistake gone horribly worse! The neighborhood is always littered with their menus and actually there were a few hundred on mount prospect rd the other day all over the street. I went here with coworkers once and my coworker was from the same decent (eastern European country, I won't name) as the owners which I'm guessing employ their family. But the point was when they spoke to him they offered him a discount because of this, now the bad thing was it was in front of plenty of other customers. And another coworker jokingly tried to play along and the said something along the lines of "hey I'm from there too" and they said, no and said its gonna be full price for the rest of you all. It was a given but the approach was just so rude I had to share it with everyone.

Ok so it's a frriggin chain. On thanksgiving day, stuck in a hotel there are not much alternatives. We wish we would have had a true Chicago culinary experience but this would have to do until places open up tomorrow. We ordered two calzone's for delivery to our hotel. After driving from 1AM to 10AM from KC to Chicago, it was nice to rest at the hotel while getting a delivery. Calzone's had a decent taste, but the bread had the taste of buffet dough ever so slightly. Kudos for the fact that it was freshly wrapped before baking. This is a good place to get a delivery on Holiday's if you are in the O'Hare vicinity.

I have eaten this pizza more times than I would like to admit since its the only place that will deliver at 2AM, but this is easily the worst pizza I've ever eaten. I had to make my roommate promise he would stop ordering it because if you try to microwave it in the morning it's nearly inedible. Another problem is that it's extremely expensive. Little Caesars serves a way better pizza for only $5, I don't know why Sarps sucks so much. I give it an extra star for quick delivery service, which is their only good feature.

It is been a while & know I remember one of the reasons I stopped ordering from here. I ordered a lg pizza with half bacon & canadian ham & i guess they forgot what that meant, their was only 2 small pieces with bacon on their & at that it was completely burned with very little sauce & it wasn't even that hot by the time it was delivered to me (which took a little bit longer than normal). I also ordered a small chicken salad which was decent considering its price & delivery hours.

I am not picky about my pizza. I do require that the food is edible though. I have NO idea how this place stays in business. I am convinced this is a money laundering operation, as serving edible food to customers is NOT their priority. I have ordered from them 3 times, and each time they managed to screw up the most simplest of tasks. My first order was a few salads. Got all the salads wrong, lettuce was soggy and tasted like those prepackaged mixes you get at the local 711. Second time I ordered a lasagna and my wife ordered mozzarella sticks. Lasagna was burned to the bottom of what was served and the mozzarella sticks were still frozen in the middle. My last time ordering was last night and I ordered Pizza thinking "Hey this is a pizza joint maybe they just do pizza well.". Boy was I wrong. Delivery time was over an hour, pizza was both cold and charred on the bottom AND the top. I took a few bites and I threw it out. I will actually put real money on the line when I say I can throw some canned tomato sauce and string cheese on some cardboard, throw it in the oven for 10 minutes, and it would still taste better than anything Sarpinos has to offer. The Staff is incompetent and matches the quality of the food. I am convinced that their actual goal is not serving good tasting food but to be a front for some dirty money scheme, as someone who cares about this business would not serve this crap to people. I say gut every single staff member, trash the menu, work up a new recipe, launch a campaign admitting your pizza sucked(see dominos), then hire competent people who actually have some sort of pride in what they serve. Go to hell Sarpinos.

Had a strange experience with this place, but it ended up in a good way. Read on. I placed a delivery order around 9pm with Sarpino's using GrubHub. After an hour had passed, I still had no delivery so I was worried. I contacted GrubHub customer service and they told me Sarpino's was having "difficulty" getting the order to me on time so Grub was going to fully reimburse me for this meal. I was pretty happy about this, and Sarpino's eventually did show up about 90 min. after I placed my order. Wasnt happy about the wait, but I was happy I was munching on the tasty baked spaghetti and mozarella sticks for free! :-) Since I had a $18.00 free coupon sitting in my GrubHub account, I decided to give Sarpino's another try about a week later. This time, I called Sarpino's 10 min. after placing my order on GrubHub and they confirmed my order would be delivered on time. They were right --- I got my delicious pasta and meatballs within 45 min. of placing the order, and it was FREE. They even threw in a free side order of breadsticks, maybe because my last order was screwed up? Needless to say, there are some bad reviews in here about delivery times so this place needs to work on this issue. However, try using GrubHub with this place and you might end up getting free food out of the experience. Worth a try, eh?

Love the pizza, love the coupons. I've ordered 3 times and the food has been delivered in the time they estimated and it was warm. One of my favorite pizza places...

They should have a "zero star" option or even a "negative star" option for places like this. I ordered a small cheese pizza and a small greek salad; with spinach instead of lettuce. Once the order was past the promised delivery time I called to see where the order was. The man on the phone said it should be there any minute (mind you we live about 1.5 miles away). We were skeptical about what this order was going to look like, and sure enough we were correct. The pizza was frozen and burnt. When I opened the salad, the smell was so foul I could not help but gag! (The spinach was spoiled, brown, n smelled like a garbage deposit zone). I called back (he hung up on me). My boyfriend called back to tell the man that our pizza was cold, charred, the spinach was spoiled, and there was no way that we would be able to eat the food because it was inedible. The man told us that the pizza sat out for 5 minutes and came straight to us (unfortunately for him, my boyfriend and I have both had pizza place jobs in the past, and knew that he was full of shit). The man had our money delivered back to us within 5 minutes (funny how the pizza took almost 2 hours), he also put us on a "Do not deliver" list. Believe me, buddy... we don't need to order, wait, and pay for spoiled, old, and burnt food..or to go to bed starving..we wont be calling back! How is this place even in business? That old fart is running his place straight into the ground..and since we were nice on the phone... FUCK YOU ASSHOLE! :D

HORRENDOUS!!!!! I am a calm person who almost refuses to write bad reviews, but this needs to be shared. We waited almost 2 hours for a personal sized pizza, a pre made salad and "garlic" breadsticks that were as hard as cardboard had ZERO garlic on them (they were plain breadsticks with some terrible tasting cheese seasoning on them). They also came with a cup of mayonaise that the man on the phone swore was garlic butter. No, sir. I am a garlic fanatic, and THAT was NOT garlic butter. That was Mayonaise. We had to call 3 times to see where our food was, and when we asked for a refund, the man on the phone blatantly refused to give us a refund. The food arrived cold, as we knew it would, which is why we wanted the refund in the first place. Terrible food and literally the worst customer service I have ever received in my entire life.

Ok I have to say this pizza was very good. I ordered the Classico Italiano. I also ordered up a Super Taco Pizza and BOTH were very good. The ingredients we flavorful and Fresh! If you like a good taco pizza then this is your chance to get one. Wow I didn't expect this from a franchise outfit like this. You can order all night long into the weee hours. They have a full menu of just about anything you could ask for from a pizza joint. Well worth your time and money. I went and picked it up myself instead of delivery.. to make sure i got it fresh. Plus I was just across the street :)

Delivery pizza instead of whatever they had on offer in the hotel lobby. Order online instead of having to repeat yourself to whoever answers the phone and doesn't understand your accent. And you can pay for it online too, though I recommend handing the delivery person the cash directly. Some very interesting and unusual pizza toppings, including artichoke hearts, broccoli, cilantro, sun-dried tomatoes and more. I went with the one they call the "Pesto Veggie" and was pleased. Sun-dried tomatoes, red and green peppers, fresh spinach leaves, onions, roasted garlic, cheddar and mozzarella cheese on a bed of pesto sauce. Fantastic and it's a good thing no one is sharing the hotel room because pee-yew! I entered my cell phone number, so I got updates as the pizza went in for preparation and then was on its way. Cool!

Gotta love the Margarita pizza. It's spicy and hot. Can be somewhat pricey, so order online and look for the specials section. You can usually get another free pizza for the price of one. Enjoy

They've got some unique gourmet pizza. Deliver late and usually hot. Hit or miss on taste. A bit pricey, very late delivery - add 20-40 minutes to their phone estimate.

placed delivery order - never received it, tried to call and see what happened but no answer yet they charged our credit card and if they do not credit it we are filing a better business bureau complaint.

Just had a miserable day of delayed flights and cancellations into Chicago Ohare. Got in around midnight and of course room service just closed. So the front desk recommended Sarpinos and I really expected ordering food in the middle of the night that it would be either pretty disgusting or extremely unhealthy. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and it was delicious. Freshly grilled warm chicken juicy tomatoes crisp romaine. I was pleasantly surprised. Even the guy who picked up the phone was patient and helpful as he answered my food questions and helped me determine my hotel location with phones jumping off the hook in the background. . Most times ordering food late is just not worth it but I was very happy with this food and overall experience. Kudos to the night shift chef staff and quick delivery folks.

Terrible. Waited over 2 hours for 2 calzones, after being told it would be under 1. I call them up to check on my order, and they tell me that they recieved my order, but never made it. Really? That's professional. Then they say they can have it to me in 20 minutes. I proceeded to tell them no, because I no longer had time to wait. Never making this mistake again. Didn't get to eat dinner tht night because they just decided not to make my food.

Crappy pizza. The calzones used to be really good, but something has changed. I used to get a nice meatball calzone from Sarpino's about once a month, but the last 2 I have had have been under cooked and really greasy. I have since stopped ordering from here. I only gave it two stars because my coworkers claim that when they order for lunch, the calzones are just fine. Maybe it was the B team cooking the last couple times I've been there. Either way I'm not willing to go back to have a 3rd bad calzone.

I love pizza. Of fast food pizza, this is the best or it can come to a tie with Papa Romeo's. Open late, they have slices, they have saucy sandwiches. Decent pizza combo's and sometimes they've got hot women working there. Prices reasonable. ---As of 3/2007 I've been back and the pizza was too salty. I'm dropping it to three stars.

    (3)
  • Laura B.

This place gets four stars not for the pizza (which is actually put together in some pretty creative ways) but for the fact they deliver til 3 or 4 a.m. and to an extremely far delivery area. Seriously, it's a good 7 miles between us and Sarpino's - in fact, they actually opened up one that's much closer, but we continue to use this one because they deliver a half hour quicker than another pizza place less than a mile away. In addition, they have a really good staff. One time they forgot a salad and gave us a ton of options to fix it (credit, driving it out to us, etc). OH - don't forget the cheesesticks - they're delicious and they can always be free with a perpetual coupon Sarpino's places on their takeout menus.

The pizza(s) we got were fairly good, however the best thing I like is that they delivered pizza to us at 12 AM. Wasn't too expensive either

Horrible!! Do NOT order from this place. I placed an order to be delivered to my work they told me it would be 45 minutes and the driver would call me when the arrived. I waited 2 hours for my COLD and BURNT pizza to arrive and, on top if the driver was suppose to call me when he arrived instead he left it at the front desk. When I called the Sarpinos Pizza back to explain the situation I was greeted my a very rude man who claimed to be the manager. He offered nothing no refund, my free pizza he didn't even say sorry and have anything at all to say. STAY AWAY FROM this joke of a pizza place Sarpinos Pizza

Several weeks ago, rather drunk at 2 a.m. and finding nothing to eat in the house I called these guys for an emergency pizza, the "Greek" one I think. Anyhow it got here in a timely manner, the delivery guy was nice and got $10 for getting it to me and I ate half of it, that's all I remember. The next day after I awakened and woke up I reheated and ate the rest and I gotta tell you it was really good!

  • Roberto F.

Not the best pizza I have but pretty good. This another place our company orders from and I think I have had this one quite a bit. The slice are pretty good if you just go by the store and it's not that bad for a lunch meal but it will get the job done every now then. Ultimately I think this places is even with Papa Romeo's and a step above Domino's. Just seems to processed. I don't know I guess that's just me.

Some creepy bald dude snuck into our apartment building and started sliding these guys' pamphlets under the doors. He didn't have a key or an invite; he slipped in while I was taking my dog out. Next time I see him I'm gonna give him the stink palm.

  • Sarah A.

Absolutely my favorite pizza. At least for now. Not too expensive. But don't waste your time or money on their breadsticks. Stick with the pizza and enjoy. They deliver pretty quickly and are open quite late. You can also order online.

this place gets a 4th star just cuz it delivers until 3AM. we arrived at our hotel from o'hare past midnight, exhausted, but too hungry to sleep. sarpino's saved us from an unhappy night of starvation. we ordered baked ravioli and a meatball calzone, which arrived in less than the 45 min. promised time of arrival. prices are reasonable, food quality is mediocre, but at 1:30 AM in elk grove village, i'm not about to complain.

This place has great pizza. Buy it by the slice or buy a whole pizza, you're gonna love this Chicago-style, greasy pizza. It's made fresh several times througout the day.
